Lovely Blossoms Card Workshop

With getting back into crafting I am also getting back into cardmaking. I did this card workshop slightly different from my normal One Sheet Wonders in that I used 3 12" x 6" sheets of the double-sided patterned paper for this to change things up a bit. I also changed it up slightly and created a second version of the cards using different DSP from the same collection to show how you can use 1 card workshop design with different papers to create a different look.

The samples shown here use 3 pieces of 12" x 6" double-sided patterned paper along with the coordinating cardstock, stamp and die cut set. As always I am sharing the cutting diagram for the patterned paper here with you. The cardstock cutting diagrams and card sketches are available with purchase of the workshop digital files.

Nature Walk Mini Album and Walk Thru Video

I am back! I know it has been awhile but I am finally getting my mojo back and getting back into scrapbooking, card making and paper crafting. For those who don't know I had shoulder replacement surgery on my right shoulder (my dominant arm) in December. This makes me now with both shoulders having been replaced. This time it took me a little longer to get up to crafting. But I finally did and will be sharing with you my recent work over the coming days and weeks!

One of the first things I did is this mini album project. My wonderful husband gifted me a subscription to Your Book of Memories for my birthday/Mother's Day. I have long been inspired by Frances Long and the mini album projects through the classes on their website. I was thrilled to receive this gift and there are so many projects to choose from! I decided to make a mini album as a gift for Mike using the Kindful Mini Album class directions. I am so excited with how this came out!

Modern Christmas One Sheet Wonder Card Workshop

The next one sheet wonder I did for this year's Christmas cards is this one featuring the Modern Christmas suite from Stampin' Up. I loved working with just black, white and gold in these cards - it gives an elegant look and feel to them.

December Memories Mini Album Project and Process Videos

This is my most ambitious mini album project yet. This December Memories Mini Album is meant to help you record your photos and memories from each day December 1st through the 25th. This gate-fold style album measures 9" x 9" with a depth of 1 3/4". It holds up to 42 photos and has places for hidden photos and journaling.

I used the Traditions of Christmas Suite from Stampin' Up along with medium weight chipboard and medium and heavy weight black cardstock to create this mini album project. You can find a PDF with the supplies list and cutlist by following this link - Supplies and Cutlist.

I did two process videos for the creation of the album. Part 1 walks you through the cutting of the pieces for the base, flaps, pockets, and other elements of this project. Part 2 walks you through assembling the album basse, adding pages, and elements. I did not do a video for decorating the album but did include the decorative elements in the Supplies and Cutlist file. You can watch each of these videos on my Youtube Channel.

Elegant Pine Snowflakes Half Sheet Wonder Card Workshop

I am trying to get ahead with my holiday cardmaking and designed this new set of cards using the Elegant Pine Snowflakes 12"x12" Double-sided Patterned Paper from Stampin' Up. I am calling this a Half Sheet Wonder since it uses a 6" x 12" piece of the DSP instead of a full 12"x12" piece. I used 2 6" x 12" pieces to make 14 cards but you can easily make just 7 cards using 1 piece.

The samples shown here use 2 pieces of the patterned paper along with the coordinating cardstock, stamp and die cut set.
