Portsmouth Dinner Out Layout and a Process Video

This is the final layout from our long weekend up in Ogunquit, Maine. I am so pleased with how all of these layouts came out. Using the Cape Cod Collection along with Kraft Paper base pages really gives the layouts a cohesive look and feel. An additional element I added to each layout was to use White Gel Pens and create a faux-stitched line somewhere on each layout. I am happy to say I am down to my last scraps of the collection but do have a few things in mind to use up the scraps - keep on the lookout for what may be coming!

The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch from Page Maps You can see this sketch along with others here.

I converted this sketch from 12" x 12" to 8 1/2" x 11" to keep with the other layouts from this trip. I modified the photo sizes as well to work with the new layout size. The title is made using the Woodgrain Die Cut letters. I created a tag with some White Daisy paper - I corner rounded the edges and used a punch from my stash to create the hole. I used some of the die cuts and acrylic shapes from the collection to embellish the layout. I also added a faux-stitched border on the top and bottom using a White Gel Pen and a ruler.

Ogunquit Layout

Getting down to the last layouts from our Maine trip ! Phew - as I am also getting down to just scraps of the Cape Cod Collection. I completed this layout during Wednesday's Scrapbook with me event and it worked well to use up some more of the scraps in my stash.

The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch from Scrapbook.com. You can see this sketch along with others here.

I converted this sketch from 12" x 12" to 8 1/2" x 11" to keep with the other layouts from this trip. I modified the photo sizes as well to work with the new layout size. I included a Zip Strip to add some more pattern to this layout and finished the layout with some of the remaining embellishments from the Cape Cod Collection. The title was die cut using an alphabet die cut set from my stash. I also added a faux-stitched border on the Lagoon cardstock piece with a White Gel Pen and a ruler.

Kennebunkport Layout

I am working on finishing up the layouts from our trip to Maine and am trying to stretch what I have left from the Cape Cod Collection as far as it will go. This layout from Monday's Scrapbook with me worked perfect for using up lots of smaller scraps of the paper in this collection!

The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch from Page Maps. You can see this sketch along with others here.

I converted this sketch from 12" x 12" to 8 1/2" x 11" to keep with the other layouts from this trip. I modified the photo sizes as well to work with the new layout size. The title was cut on my Cricut. I added an offset layer to it that I inked the edges of using Toffee Exclusive Inks and a dauber. I added some ribbon from my stash along with some of the die cuts and acrylic shapes from the Cape Cod collection. I had some extra pictures from Kennebunkport so I added a Flip Flap to hold these. I also added a faux-stitched border on the layout with a White Gel Pen and a ruler.

Marginal Way Layout

I completed this layout during Wednesday's Scrapbook with me session and love how this came out. I am working on finishing the layouts I have planned from this trip and using sketches that will help me stretch my stash in doing so. This was a fun layout to do and I loved being able to take an evening walk from our Air BnB over to Marginal Way with Mike!

The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch from Rochelle Spears. You can see this sketch along with others here.

I converted this sketch from 12" x 12" to 8 1/2" x 11" to keep with the other layouts from this trip. I modified the photo sizes as well to work with the new layout size. The title is a combination of square letter stickers from my stash and Woodgrain Die Cut letters. I used some of the die cuts and acrylic shapes from the collection to embellish the layout. I also added a faux-stitched on the tag as well as around the large circle element using a White Gel Pen and a ruler.

Nubble Lighthouse Layout

Another layout from our weekend in Ogunquit, Maine. While up there we did a fun and scenic ride down from Ogunquit to York Beach. Stopped at Long Sands Beach as well as Nubble Lighthouse along the way. Meghan and Mike had fun climbing along the rocks at the lighthouse. This layout worked well with using up some of the scraps I have from the Cape Cod Collection.

The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch from Even More Scrappin. You can see this sketch along with others here.

We Are Here Layout

This is the next layout from our Maine long weekend. I lucked out when planning the long weekend and found this great Air BnB to stay at that was perfect. Definitely will stay there again if we go back to Ogunquit!

The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch from Page Maps. You can see this sketch along with others here.

I converted this sketch from 12" x 12" to 8 1/2" x 11" to keep with the other layouts from this trip. I modified the photo sizes as well and the number of photos to work with the new layout size. The ribbon comes from my stash. The title letters are a combination of die cut letters using the Simple Serif Uppercase Thin Cuts set along with some block stickers from my stash. I added some extra stickers on the upper right corner of the layout for a little more embellishment.

Let's Eat Layout

The next layout from our weekend up in Maine done during a recent Scrapbook with me event. I knew I definitely had to have a lobster roll while up in Maine but also got to enjoy some clam chowder and steamers - all some of my favorite foods. I am continuing to work with the new Cape Cod Collection for the layouts from this long weekend away.

The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch from Page Maps I found on A Cherry on Top. You can see this sketch along with others here.

I converted this sketch from 12" x 12" to 8 1/2" x 11" to keep with the other layouts from this trip. I modified the photo sizes as well and the number of photos to work with the new layout size. The ribbon, twine and acrylic letters are all from my stash. I added some faux-stitching using a white gel pen around the border of the layout to unify this with the other layouts from the trip. I also used 3-D Foam Tape under a focal picture to give a little more dimension to the layout.
