Throwback Thursday - September 2021 Recap Layout

It's Throwback Thursday today with this latest in my Monthly Recap Layouts for September of 2021. I dug into my stash to pull out some Into the Wild paper for this layout. This collection was one of my favorite collections from 2019.

The inspiration for this layout comes from this sketch from EvenMoreScrapping. You can see this sketch along with others here.

The title was die cut using the Simple Serif Uppercase Alphabet Thin Cuts set. I added a banner underneath the title to give it some pop. I also substituted circles for the squares and used 3-D Foam tape with these for some additional dimension.

Throwback Thursday - Happy Halloween Layout

I dug into my stash of Halloween themed papers for this recent layout from a Scrapbook with Me event. It was fun to be able to create this layout to showcase some of the Halloween fun that goes on where I work. Everyone enjoys getting dressed up and bringing in lots of food to celebrate this spooky holiday!

This layout was inspired by this sketch from Page Maps. You can see this sketch along with others here.

I dug into my stash and pulled out some retired Got Candy paper for this layout. To add a little bit to the White Daisy background, I sponged some Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide Ink with a stencil before adhering the patterned paper. I added some ribbon attached with staples and then used some of the candy stickers from the collection along the top instead of the geometric shapes in the sketch.

Throwback Thursday - November 2018 Recap Layout

Another fun monthly recap layout done using some wonderful older papers from my stash! I love being able to catchup on my scrapbooking doing these Monthly Recap layouts during my Scrapbook with me sessions!

The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch from Scrapbook and Cards Today. You ca see this sketch along with others here.

For this recap of November 2018 I pulled out some of the retired Pathfinding and Timber papers. I also added some stamping for the title using the retired November Word Puzzle stamp set. The wood embellishments were colored using some ink and a dauber.

Throwback Thursday - Salem Mass Layout

Today's post is the first in a new series - Throwback Thursday. With these posts I will feature a layout or card done using one of the retired collections from Close To My Heart. This layout was done during one of my recent Scrapbook with Me events and features the retired Yesterday and Today collection. 

We decided to a day trip to Salem, Massachusetts this week since all four of us had some time off from work. Mike and I had been there before but this was the first time there for Meghan and Nicole. I love how the antique charm of this collection works perfectly with the pictures from the historic sights in Salem.

The inspiration for the layout comes from this sketch from the Even More Scrapbooking blog. I added some strips to the layout using some of the remaining scraps of paper I had in my stash. You can see this sketch along with others here.

The large bracket shape was cut on my Cricut and the title was done using the Block Letters Alphabet Thin Cut set. I added some stickers from the collection along with some Gold Glitter Gems to embellish the layout.
