I continued with my stash busting during my most recent Scrapbook with me event on Wednesday. I, once again, dug into my stash of Mix-In papers for this layout for my younger daughter's recent hair cut. It was hard to believe how long her hair had grown but not really surprising with not getting it cut for about 3 years!

NES15 Retreat Layout
I have been on a Scrap my Stash kick this week and focusing on the Mix-In paper packs I have in there during this week's Scrapbook with me events. I added another layout to my Retreat Album during Monday's event and finished up some Mix-In papers while working on it.
The inspiration for this layout comes from this sketch from Scrapbook Generation. You can see this layout along with many others available for download - Free and for purchase - here.

March 2022 Recap Layout
My latest monthly recap layout features the In Full Bloom Collection from Close To My Heart which is the featured collection for the month of April. I completed this layout during today's Scrapbook with me event and had so much fun working with this collection.
The inspiration for this layout comes from this pattern from the Close To My Heart blog. You can download a PDF of this pattern and see how Close To My Heart used this sketch here. I converted the pages in this sketch from 12" x 12" to 8 1/2" x 11" as that is the size I am working with for my 2022 album.

Breakout Layout
I love when paper collections contain basic patterns and colors that allow you to use the papers in layouts other than what matches the theme of the collection. I did just that with this layout done during a recent Scrapbook with me event. I pulled some patterns from the Cake Day collection to use in this layout for my daughter, Nicole's, part time job at an escape room.
The inspiration for this layout comes from this sketch from Sketches In Thyme I found on Scrapbook.com. You can see this sketch along with others here.
Since this layout is part of my 2022 album I did convert the sketch from 12" x 12" to 8 1/2" x 11". I used some of the paper along with Picture My Life cards for the patterns in this. The stitched circle was created by using a white gel pen and following the outline of a circle template. The title was die cut using the Simple Serif Uppercase Alphabet and I added some enamel dots for some embellishment to finish the layout.
