Chalk Art Layout

Morgan and I recently joined our town's Cultural Council and participated in a chalk art event sponsored by the council. We both had a lot of fun drawing with chalk on some sidewalk areas in town. I love the flowers that Morgan did for their work. I pulled some of the Bloom Impressions DSP from this year's Sale-a-Bration for this layout.

The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch from Laura Whitaker I found on Pinterest.

This was a fun layout to work on and I loved the combination of papers I used from the DSP. The notebook paper came from a card in my stash that I punched the notebook edges on. The title was die cut using a set from my stash and then I added some Distress Oxide ink to the letters. I added some faux-stitching using a black pen and then some embellishments from my stash to finish the layout.

Cheers to 60 Layout

Okay, so I joined the 60 year old club! It seems so strange to be 60 as I did not imagine myself at this age. I enjoyed a wonderful day with my family and we had a delicious dinner out at our favorite sushi place, Yama Zakura. I pulled out papers from the Lovely Garden DSP for this layout.

The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch from Page Maps I found on Pinterest.

I love how these papers worked for this layout! I cut the title on my Cricut. The flower embellishments were done using the Thankful Garden bundle. I stamped the flowers in Memento Ink and then die cut them out. I used the Thankful Garden decorative masks and blending brushes to color in the flowers and leaves. I added some faux-stitching using a ruler and white gel pen and then added some enamel dots from stash to finish the layout.

Easter 2025 Layout

We enjoyed a quiet Easter this year with just the 4 of us. Slept in a bit and then enjoyed a delicious Easter Sunday brunch at a local restaurant. I created this layout during a recent Scrapbook with me using papers from the Floral Delight DSP from Stampin' Up. Love how this layout came out!

The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch I found on Pinterest.

I used some Garden Green cardstock for the base of the page. The title was die cut using the Alphabet a' la mode dies. I fussy cut some flowers from the DSP and added some enamel dots from my stash to embellish the layout.
