Best Friends Mini Album Project and Process Video

My oldest had their best friend visit this past September and they had such a great time together. I wanted to create a mini album for each of them as a gift to record the memories from their time together. I created this simple mini album for each of them. This was a simple design mini album and measures 6" x 6" with a spine that is 1 3/4" wide. There is a strap with a magnet to keep the album closed. There are 10 pages in total in the album and holds 21 photos. There are also pockets on the inside of the front and back covers for memorabilia along with some tags for journaling their memories together.

You can see the pages of the mini album in the following pictures. I have also included a walkthru video along with my process video at the end of this post.

I used the a fall paper collection I found along with medium weight chipboard and medium and heavy weight kraft cardstock to create this mini album project. You can find a PDF with the supplies list and cutlist by following this link - Supplies and Cutlist.

You can see my Walkthru of the Mini Album in this video from my YouTube Channel.

For this project I did a process video which walks you through creating the base album along with decorating the pages. You can see this video on my YouTube Channel.

I hope you like this paper crafting project. Thanks for stopping by!

World Clock Layout

One of the highlights during our Panoramic Prague Excursion was seeing the World Clock in Old Town Square. The clock is mounted on the southern wall of the city's Old Town Hall. The clock mechanism has three main components – the astronomical dial, representing the position of the Sun and Moon in the sky and displaying various astronomical details; statues of various Catholic saints stand on either side of the clock; "The Walk of the Apostles", an hourly show of moving Apostle figures and other sculptures, notably a figure of a skeleton that represents Death, striking the time; and a calendar dial with medallions representing the months.

The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch I found on Pinterest.

I stayed close to the sketch for this layout. I did add a few extra banner strips to the left large banner for visual interest. I also used the circle element for my journal strips. I cut the title on my Cricut.
