Getting back into my Scrapbook with me events after taking a break for the holidays and end of 2020. So happy to see everyone back with me so start of 2021 right! I created this monthly recap layout using up pretty much the very last scraps of my Serenity paper, stickers and Picture My Life cards.
The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch from Scrapbook and Cards Today. You can see this sketch along with others here.
I cut the title using my Cricut and cut the small banners from scraps of paper and Picture My Life cards I had leftover in my Serenity stash. The banners are all 1/2" wide and dovetail cut to various heights. I used my sewing machine to do some stitching across the tops of the rows of banners. I use my regular sewing machine to do this but with a needle dedicated to stitching on paper. I clean the needle off in between with some rubbing alcohol to remove any adhesive residue. I pull any thread through to the backside of the layout and tack down with some adhesive.
