StarFun Layout

I am in love with this recent Scrapbook with me event layout I completed! The layout used up most of my scraps from the Sweet Safari paper pack along with some leftover Picture My Life cards. I have been using a lot of sketches lately that use smaller pieces of paper or cardstock. These are perfect for Bashing your Stash to use up any leftover papers from a collection.

The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch. You can see this sketch along with others here.

The squares are all 3"x3", 2"x2" or 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" in dimension with banners that are 3/4" or 1" in width. I die cut the title from Canary cardstock and stamped on them using Intense Black Exclusive Ink.

To add something extra to this layout I die cut the stars from Canary and Lagoon cardstock and then ran them through my die cut machine with a dot embossing folder to give some texture to them. I added some faux-stitching to some of the squares and banners as well as around the outside of some squares.

I cut down a 4"x6" Picture My Life card to 3 3/4" x 3 3/4" and matted it on another card that was cut down to 4"x4" in place of the 4"x4" photo on the right page to have a journaling box.

If you are interested in joining me for one of my twice-weekly Scrapbook With Me events, make sure to like and follow my Facebook page to get notifications of upcoming events.

I hope you like the layout. Thanks for stopping by!
