I am still catching up with scrapbooking some layouts and had so much fun creating this layout during a recent Scrapbook with Me event. I pulled out some more of my Pumpkin Spice paper to document this trip to Wachusett Mountain the girls and Mike took while I was at a recent scrapbook retreat.
The layout was based on a Page Maps sketch from Scrapbook.com. You can see this sketch along with others here.
The brackets were hand cut using an old template I had in my tool stash. The title was die cut using a combination of the Block Alphabet and Simple Serif Uppercase Thin Cuts. I cut each word of the title twice - once with Harbour cardstock and then again with Shortbread cardstock. I then added a "shadow" to each letter by offsetting the bottom layer of cardstock. The embellishments were also pulled from my stash to add a little extra something to the layout.
