Happy Layout

Another workshop layout I taught during the Ready Set Crop Fall Frolic retreat. This one features the Cherish Collection from Close To My Heart. I showcased some additional mixed media techniques with this layout using elements from the Cherish Digital Art Collection.

This layout is also inspired by a sketch from the Close To My Heart Blog. You can see this sketch along with others here.

I embellished the layout using elements from the Digital Art Collection. I cut these on my Cricut and used 12" x 12" Acetate to cut stencils to use along with Blending Brushes and ink to add some additional color to the elements of the layout.

I love working with the Digital Art Collections as you can do so much with the images on a Cricut, Silhouette or other electronic die cut machine.
