Silver Bells Money Holder #2 and a Process Video

Project #4 from my Silver Bells Gift Card and Money Holder Workshop is the second money holder. I taught this workshop during a recent Ready Set Crop weekend retreat. This workshop features the Silver Bells collection from Close To My Heart.

To make Money Holder #1 you will first need to score the 7" x 9 1/4" piece of Charcoal cardstock along the 9 1/4" side at 3" and then at 6 1/4". Fold along the score lines folding both inward.

Make marks 1" down from the 6 1/4" score line on the left side of the piece and 1" in from the bottom right corner. Align the marks on your trimmer and cut away this portion. 

Using strong adhesive, place a piece on the right side only of the bottom panel. Fold this up and adhere to the middle panel to create the pocket. With this pocket the left side will remain open. 

Adhere the sentiment piece to the inside top panel. Make marks on the front side of your bottom panel patterned paper piece 3/4" up from the bottom and 3/4" in from the top right corner. Align the marks on your trimmer and cut away this portion. Adhere this to the front of the pocket. Adhere a stamped ornament with bow image to the pocket.

Mat the top patterned paper piece on the Mink cardstock and adhere this to the front panel of the money holder. Using the two pieces of Zip Strip set aside for this project, adhere these to the front patterned paper piece aligned together. Adhere a stamped bell image to Zip Strips, covering the seam.

I added some Platinum Stickles Glitter Glue to the stamped images to add a little bling to the holder.
