Halloween Cards and a Sketch Challenge

Continuing the Halloween crafting fun with these cards I made to send to family and friends. The cards feature the Fa-BOO-lous Collection from Close To My Heart. I am enjoying working with this collection and the images and colors in it.

The cards were inspired by this sketch challenge from the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge Blog. You can see this sketch along with others here.

I knew I wanted to create several cards at one time so once I pulled out my Fa-BOO-lous paper I started to play with the combinations of patterns to use for the cards. I then cut the pieces of cardstock and patterned paper I needed and die cut the embellishments from the Fa-BOO-lous Stamp Set + Thin Cuts.

I stamped the images using Intense Black Exclusive Ink and colored them in with Triblend Markers.

As I assembled the cards I used some Thin 3-D Foam Tape for a couple of the layers to add dimension and then added some Melon Dots to finish each card.

I hope you like the cards. Thanks for stopping by!
