Portsmouth Dinner Out Layout and a Process Video

This is the final layout from our long weekend up in Ogunquit, Maine. I am so pleased with how all of these layouts came out. Using the Cape Cod Collection along with Kraft Paper base pages really gives the layouts a cohesive look and feel. An additional element I added to each layout was to use White Gel Pens and create a faux-stitched line somewhere on each layout. I am happy to say I am down to my last scraps of the collection but do have a few things in mind to use up the scraps - keep on the lookout for what may be coming!

The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch from Page Maps You can see this sketch along with others here.

I converted this sketch from 12" x 12" to 8 1/2" x 11" to keep with the other layouts from this trip. I modified the photo sizes as well to work with the new layout size. The title is made using the Woodgrain Die Cut letters. I created a tag with some White Daisy paper - I corner rounded the edges and used a punch from my stash to create the hole. I used some of the die cuts and acrylic shapes from the collection to embellish the layout. I also added a faux-stitched border on the top and bottom using a White Gel Pen and a ruler.
