I love walking the beach at sunset and seeing the colors over the horizon. We had a chance to do this while on the Cape for the weekend. We went to Breakwater Beach in Brewster and the sunset over the bay was beautiful! Used up some more of my Seas the Day scraps for this layout.
The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch from a challenge on Paper Bakery. You can see this sketch along with others here.
I converted the sketch to 8 1/2" x 11" to work with the size I use for my albums. I changed the photo sizes to work with the changed layout size. I changed up the sizing and number of horizontal strips a bit as I used 2 Zip Strips in the layout which were shorter than the ones in the sketch. To make the title I used a piece of White Daisy cardstock which I colored using Triblend Markers to create the sunset/ombre effect. I then die cut the letters out using the Simple Serif Uppercase Alphabet set.
