It has been getting festive around here and we have been enjoying decorating our house this year by changing things up a bit. I decided to document this with this layout during one of my recent Scrapbook with me events. I am so pleased with how this layout came out.
The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch from the 4x6PhotoSketchBlog. You can find this sketch along with others here.
For my version I changed up the sketch a bit to replace some of the 4x6 photos with 3x4 photos and replaced one with a journal box. I also changed it up in that I did not use the rings or the journaling on the left had page.
I used some retired Comfort & Joy paper for this along with the Comfort & Joy Scrapbooking stamp set for the embellishments. The title was done with the Pennant Banner Alphabet Stamp & Thin Cuts set. I also added some bling on the centers of the poinsettias using the Platinum Stickles. I placed some stickles on the banner at the points where 2 banner pieces meet to act like string ties.
