Graduation 2019 Layout

I have been meaning to do this layout for over a year and finally got around to creating this during a recent Scrapbook with me event. It is hard to believe that Nicole graduated high school over a year ago and is now in her sophomore year in college but here we are.

The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch I found on Pinterest from Scrapbook and Cards Today. They have a series of sketches to help you create a monthly layout for each month in the year. I will definitely be diving into these sketches more with my Monthly Recap layout series.

You can see this sketch along with others here.

When looking at the photos for this layout I knew I couldn't just pull the graduation colors (maroon and gold) or the party colors (blue and green) for my papers so I decided to go with a neutral palette for the papers. I dug into my stash of retired Basics Fundamentals paper from Close To My Heart to achieve this.

The title and stars were die cut using black and silver glitter paper from Close To My Heart. The title uses the Simple Serif Thin Cut set.

I hope you like this layout. Thanks for stopping by.

Supplies:

Z3760 - Simple Serif Uppercase Thin Cut
Z3236 - Black Glitter Paper
Z3239 - Silver Glitter Paper
