We took advantage of a nice day and a long weekend to spend the day in Boston recently since we had not been there in a while. You would think that having a child going to college in Boston we would be there more often but no. This layout worked out great for using up almost all of my stash of the retired Documented collection. I love how the colors and patterns worked with the photos.
The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch from Page Maps. You can see this sketch along with others here.
I converted the sketch from 12" x 12" to 8 1/2" x 11". I changed up the sizes of the papers along with the photos to work with the different page size. The title and enamel dots are from the embellishments that coordinated with the Documented collection. The flowers were from my stash. I added some faux-stitching using a black pen and ruler.
